With my RRC I found that someone had replaced my A frame bushes with plastic ones and that one had disintegrated.
They have to be pretty bad or should I say one has to be pretty bad before you feel it.
The big donuts on the trailing arms hold the axle in place otherwise,if they are ok that is.

    Fixed!

Thanks again for all the ideas and advice, everyone. Good news... couple of days ago I replaced the rear lower link-to-chassis bushes ( I was going to do the axle ends as well but they looked almost like new) and it's completely fixed the problem.
I'm not surprised, looking at the state of the old left hand one particularly - literally shattered. (well as shattered as rubber can be) I'm ashamed I didn't realise it was so bad a lot earlier TBH. Anyway, that's one issue fixed. Only the other 6 or so to sort now.....

In my experience, that is the most common cause of this issue! And I should add that after trying a variety, I have found that genuine far outlasts anything else I have tried!

Do you have a pic of the bush?

It's a bit hard to show in a pic - but the rubber has not only separated from the metal (not unusual) but it has also split through the rubber itself. The other side (no pic) is pretty much intact, so it's not surprising that the handling was "interesting". The only 110 with rear wheel steer

Thanks for that, you probably wouldn't notice that quickly when on the car doing a visual inspection.
