Anyone know which would be the most economic option:
1. Purchase foams and covers from exmoor / britpart /wherever and have them fitted locally.
2. Have new foams and covers made up locally as part of the one job.
I think purchasing a kit would be cheaper.
I recently priced up a seat retrim for an old Hillman I have here and it was over $1000 for two front seats and a repair to the rear seat.
I know what I would have said ten years ago, but trimmers seem to be thin on the ground these days. But nothing's as easy as it looks on YT. I'd have a go though. Not as if it's a Rolls Royce.
The foam used to be available when I did mine, but that was years ago.
