I’d change PTO drive mounting position from 6 to 9 o’clock, this makes checking t-case level easier and it’s no longer the lowest part of the drive train, just needs one extra hole drill for the locating dowel
You’ll need some modifications to your exhaust, the TD5 has less room, I’d have to pop my head under to refresh my memory, changing to 6 o’clock might help and/or change where the drive shaft bolts to the chassis. Either way it’s tight.
Expect another oil leak, we’ll small one from the out put seal on the drive, again 6 o’clock would help this.
Sheer pin, although carrying one might sound like a good idea, replacing it would be a mission mid recovery, I’d say nearly impossible. I’ve only just sourced a sheer pin after 15 years of not having one. Therefore I always do a 2:1 pull to reduce the chance of overloading the winch, theory has worked to date.
You’ll also need to modify you front bar…….
That’s all I can think off……
Oh this is assuming you a new to PTO’s, if not than ignore all of the above.
