Yes - I installed really good quality ones made by Samco in 2010 and still going strong with 14 years and 200 k km. Not cheap though.

Just a couple of tips. Rough up the inside of the silicon hose with some sandpaper where it goes on the stubs of the intercooler and turbo and make sure the stubs are clean and free of oil or the hose can blow off under boost. I bought specific wide clamps for the hose but AFAIR they were no better than the originals.
If you buy the set, I found my cheapo set was a bit short onto the MAF so needed to be juggled a bit at each end. Similarly rough them up and same for the intercooler to inlet manifold.
To me the cheapos were fully OK otherwise.

I have these Samco XDB hoses on my td5 Peter. I don't have the technical grounding to assess them, but my mechanic was very impressed with them when asked to fit for me when doing a cooling system overhaul. I've had zero issues since fitting - and to my eye they are a big step up in quality to other silicone hoses I've fitted on the 300tdi over the years or what you see in supercheap, repco, autobarn etc.

I'll likely be in Warragul on Thursday avo running my daughter around for netball if you wanted to take a first hand look.

I've ordered a generic silicon hose pair. I figure worst case, if one busts in a remote location I can wrap it with repair tape. Unlike cooling hoses where loss of coolant becomes a problem.

You can do a temporary repair with some plastic pipe used for taking the waste water from your sink, if you get the correct size for your hose. You cut where the split is and insert the plastic pipe and secure the intercooler hose at each end with a circular hose clip.

I was at KLR on Monday and asked about a pair of blue silicone hoses I saw on the bench. I was told they were Recovery brand items for a Puma.

Recovery is TerraFirma as far as I can ascertain
