Its like putting the gifted good looking kids in with the "special needs" class. It's just not right

because it would be very quiet if all you v8 special needs kids had your own section.

    Cool.

Funny, when I wrote that all those years ago, I never thought I'd own a Discovery, let alone spend more time on the Discovery forum than here. I suppose the Defender is trouble free in comparison.

it actually drives me a bit nuts with all the forums, sub forums bla bla

All the good V8 tech stuff is spread about between the Rangie and disco forums - not too big a problem - but a lot of it should be in general tech.

mate I thought that you had left yourself open to enough without me having to pound it into you by repeating it, so I spared you.

Yep, far too many seem to post genuine tech queries that go across all models in the sub forums.

Thank you for your kindness but its ok - its just tall poppy syndrome, something all V8 County owners have to deal with . We know we drive the best Land Rover ever made, and deep down everyone else knows this too.
(luckily isuzu county owners have their own forum and won't read the above, I reckon they'd hunt me down and gut me like a fish )
