Hey Wayne, firstly how ya going? and secondly who makes auto lockers for a Salisbury? And Jeff - are you kidding ? a $1000 for a 93/ 94 model?, gawd - I'll just go hang myself. Where you riding a horse, wearing a Drizabone and an Akubra (or similar) or a poorly fashioned steel helmet thing under which you did a big beard and toting a rifle when you committed this highway robbery????? And when and where did you do it? I'd like to do the same :)
cheers Gerald

Well, well and my, my Rusnut, that's one sexy beast, that is. I'll bet all the neighbours are wondering what you do for a crust driving around in a flash machine like that; I'm envoius, not jealous but very envious :)
Wayne, how you do find it? any problems? I've planted the seed with the Minister of War so she thinks I need two right now, so that when I settle for just one, I'll look like I've saved money. Just earlier tonight I was watching a short video I took of you following Mark (isuzutooeh) up the pipeline track and was marvelling at how easily you did it. Is yours in the front or as I suspect rear (or both). Any idea what they cost these days?
cheers Gerald
ps looking forward to the next trip- haven't done one for a while :(
Hi all,
Recently crossed over from my discovery 3 to the defender 90 and I love my car.

So far I've kept it simple with light guards, side steps & interior mats. Transferred the tire pressure monitor across from the D3, and she has been running nice for the first 500kms.
Just thought I say hi, and am looking forward to the waves as I pot around Victoria!
cheers, James

If you buy one ,you will love it.:DYou only run it in the rear,as it would affect the steering if you fitted it to the front. It will definately increase the ability of your vehicle, and gives the best bang for your dollar.
No need to worry about switching on or off, just concentrate on driving.
The only downside I have seen is on slippery muddy side slopes, but not often come across any situation that I have wished I didn't have one.
I think you can buy them for around $800 from the U.S. Sold as No Spin lockers.Just make sure you specify that it is for a Salisbury.
Not just the locker at play in that video,it has taken a lot of time......and money for that matter,to get the old truck to where she is in that video, and a lot more since, has increased its ability even further
Yes, it is. Got most parts from Famous Fours, delivered in a week, much cheaper than what MLR could do. Post a picture when you get it, thinking of a RAI/ snorkel as well, with a bash plate in the future.
