Yeah there sure were some nice discovery 4's about at Newnes

The winch is a 9.5xp Warn, and the winch bar came from Mulgo, It's the same as the ones he still sells.

You've piqued my curiosity... what's the recess behind the driver's door? I don't recognise the gas bottle holder - what brand is it?

Hi John,

behind the driver's door is the filler for the Aux fuel tank, which sits under the driver's seat.

The gad bottle holder is a Hannibal one I think.

This is really vain but it seems a pity that Land Rover chose to remove the "Defender" lettering from below the bonnet lip of the 2010 "puma" types and instead put Land Rover on the bonnet.... it removes the uniqueness of the "Defender". Maybe I should just add it underneath...
