G'day Pete, mate I was actually lucky enough to get the materials free from work, it was completely made from obsolete tube and flat bar so the only cost to me was $180 to have it sandblasted and powder coated. The bumper part of the bar is made from 3" water pipe, it is 5mm thick so I should be able to drive through a brick wall! The total weight without the winch came to 32kg but it is quite robust.
