She's a 2012 model (the 110, not the wife) and has done 16,000km. I'm hoping she's a keeper (the 110, AND the wife!)... hope you don't mind me picking your brains about how I should get her set up for the Gunbarrel Hway next year...

    Cheers
My suggestion for setup for the Gunbarrell is to leave it standard and not listen to the you-have-to-have-crew eg:"you must have this, and this and especially this...."

My 82 year old uncle has done it like 6 times in his standard XF panno with no dramas. Any 4 wheeler should be fine. And extra classy in a deefer

Nice looking Rig by the way

Dual battery and a socket for your fridge. Other than that, as far as the Landy goes I'd say you're pretty set.

The Fender is back after a 10 month rest. Plenty of new gear and Gwyn Lewis dislocating suspension has absolutely transformed it on and off-road.

Cheers mate. I'm impressed that your uncle has done so well on the Gunbarrell. When I did it 15 years ago or so (in a Toyota troupy), it was washed out and extremely slow going in many parts. I'm very keen to get back out there and see how it has changed.

    Thumbs up

Here's my Td5 with Rijidij wheel carrier/chainsaw carrier and bike rack. The carrier didn't fail, even after driving along the Mt Dare track into the Simpson. Well done and thanks Murray.

Can't see why it would fail on the Mt Dare track - it's in great condition
