welcome to the forum. Do a search for X-trouser and your problem will be solved. guess a roof rack is not on the modification list...........
Hi guys. This is my new 110. Picked her up this avo. Love it. My old 79 series LC has nothing on it. Just fits in the carport too.
Tore my new shorts on door catch already. Those things suck!ImageUploadedByTapatalk1390985463.123497.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1390985489.574253.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1390985530.037340.jpg

Very nice Dave looks like you were almost given a prostate exam
Cheers guys. Yeah pretty spewin about the shorts, but oh well, it happens. I was looking at the x-trouser recently on here whilst waiting for the rig to arrive, but didn't appreciate how catchy the original is. I now understand.
I want a rack for future adventures, but will need to do some serious carport mods. Looking at different door options. Maybe a sideways roller door? Not sure if the existing beam is too low anyways.
Getting a crab bar installed tomorrow, then tint on Friday.
Next mods after that will be a hay man reese, cargo barrier and arb deluxe bar.
The crab bar was installed today at GEL motors, Geelong. Did a ripper job. $670.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1391063398.906919.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1391063432.107692.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1391063470.922701.jpg
Progress shot of steering guard and bull bar install followed by a shot of the bull bar.
One of the rear corners fitted and another pic with the side skirt trims removed for the rock slider installation (which despite the fact I did it two weeks ago I don't have a photo of the finished product yet).
Next up is a roof rack so I can mount the awning![]()
Hey Rig110, looks good, I've also got the same setup on one of my 90's.
First four rear corner protectors and front bar, and terrafirma rock sliders with tree bars, and an APT steering protector/bash plate.

Maybe this is an ignorant question ( I hope not!) but what's the purpose of the crab bar?

I was sent a picture today of my Defender at Wiggley's Waterhole late last year, so I thought I might share it with you all
Plus while I'm at it, I'll throw in a couple from my time in the Adelaide Hills over Christmas - nothing particularly four wheel drivey, but Land Rover related all the same. Don't you think I got a shock when I came around the corner and saw that my 110 had made a little friendNot sure if these people are on this forum but they were nice enough to leave a note
I'm glad to report that the 110 didn't miss a beat the whole time, despite driving in what most would call 'extreme' temperatures. No pun intended
Once I left Hahndorf that morning, and went into Barker I found another one ... I've seriously never seen so many Defenders/Series LRs on the road as I did over Christmas
Stopped for lunch at Langhorne Creek Pub, mostly because I saw the MGThe guy who owns it is 89 years old, and he says dementia sets in at 80 ... to celebrate he bought an MG
If you're ever in the area, it's a great spot to stop for a feed and/or a beer
Hanging with it's Southern buddies
