Being 2006, and having Maxi-drive lockers F&R, it would seem safe to say that it has had a Salisbury 'upgrade'.

How so? The front is a Rover that has been MaxiD, why couldn't the rear have a Rover housing off a disco/rangie or something else grafted in? Could you buy a new Rover Maxi in 2006? If not, then they are second hand, and only Steve or the previous owner can answer what is under it now ;)

Save your money for something you need Steve,you don't need 4" lift to fit 35's on a Defender......it isn't a Disco;)

They are original Mal Storey Maxi Drives, the previous owner bought last two pair or so and stored them until he used one of them on this built.

they are brand spanking new :p
