New Defender!!!

Ain't she Purdy!???
Took delivery last Friday, and the family love it!!! We have previously had 2x Discovery 2a's but the Defender is a revelation! 2.2 Puma engine has plenty of poke and the 6speed manual is easy to change with minimal clunks... (mostly).
Oh and the Mrs loves the driving position and the simplicity...

Now to accessorise....

On the list: ARB Bull Bar- colour coded, Tow bar, Cargo Barrier, Spotlights and UHF.
And then into the scrub!

Is that the Indus Silver?

Yep that's Indus Silver, looks very close to the old Zambezi Silver that my Dad had on his 2003 Disco.

The Z is slowly coming along. Not everyone likes the impact the LED's have on the overall look of the Defender but that was the best place for them without too much hassle. I finally have the gas bottle holder and gullwing window on and still have the steering guard left to put on. Bit time constrained at the moment. Just doing the soundproofing of the cab at the moment.
