My 265/75R16's are on 16x8 rims with "0" offset. The chunky sidewalls of the M/T's are very close to inline with the outer rim. I get mud chucked up the sides, but that's part of the fun of getting off road, and is nothing a good wash can't fix.
If anything, it helps to get you in the good habit of cleaning the truck early after a day of fun out on the tracks.
Enjoy it :D
i have 33X12.5 x 15
and a wind thing on the drivers door
every thing comes up between the Gard and slider, in side the wind thing and onto my lap
Thanks for the feedback gents.
I will be adding home made rock sliders / tree skids full length including the rear quarter panels once i get back home. That should take care of 'most' of the mud slinging. We fold them up out of plate capped on the ends and they fit snug to the wheel flares both ends. Im also looking to see if its worth fitting a proper drain and tap and have them as small water tanks for the dogs or boot wash/kiddy foot wash for sandy trips.
Will send photos of what we do when i can. But im sure you will be seeing photos of my first mud outing proving you all right, with or without the 'skirts'
Here's some pics of my Deefer with some of Murray's bolt-on goodies!

Went to pick it up from having some warranty work done. Even the dealers like to park them together :)
