This is our 3rd Defender. (7th Land Rover). Stripped to the ground and rebuilt – it took us 3 months including a full respray. It had 10,000kms on the clock when we started . We gave it a test run to NE Arnhem Land in July / August. Performed faultlessly.

Our TD5 and our daughter's TD5 on an isolated beach - it took 90 minuted to cover the 12 kms to get to this beautiful spot.

On the way back home (unfortunately). Really enjoyed meeting AULRO members DM_TD5 and Stuuu - see you next year!!!
That's a neat looking truck mate! May i ask why you rebuilt it after only 10,000km's?
So that's what the Defender looks like in the day light. Look forward to catching up with again next year Erich. :D
Thanks Derek,
It was great to catch up with you and yours last month. Looking forward to a couple of trips up there in '09.
Keep in touch. Cheers Erich
Thanks mate, I bought it from the auctions. The previous owner had it fall over on him. Needed a whole lot of body work. This was an enjoyable challange. Cheers, Erich.
