Gidday Gentlemen,
Thankyou for your comments.
Please see attached photos taken this morning just before work & between showers.
A few more mods I have carried out:-
All additional accessories are controlled from relays & switches mounted on the front of the Ex-Box, power to these switches is through a 2 minute timer which allows starting without accessories on.
With this setup I leave the fridge switched on so it runs when the engine is running even around town & empty just to keep the unit ticking over.
Trips sofar in this vehicle:-
Simpson Desert
Googs Track(2)
Hann Track(2)
Soon - Rudell River.

Mate, just in regards to your fridge, you may want to keep it full, or 3/4 full so it doesn't have to work so hard and put too much strain on your battery. I chuck in a pack of water bottles when I've unpacked all the food etc. (and of course, nothing makes city dwellers more annoyed than when you jump out at the lights on a hot day and grab a cold bottle to drink :-) ).
Gidday MrLandy,
Off to Karlamilyi National Park (Rudall River) in late July 2015 in a big loop on the Great Central Road, North on Carnegie Hwy, Gary Hwy then Talawana Track, gonna need all my fuel range.
After Rudall River onto Carrawine Gorge then maybe home.
Regards LesDef

Chops - i'll try to equal your traffic trick. While patiently waiting in the queue to board the Spirit of Tasmania you jump out of the truck, grab a bottle of wine from the fridge and pour you and the wife a tipple. A look of jealously and admiration befalls the onlookers.
MLD
That is an awesome photo, MLD. Land Rover certainly could have used that in one of the sales brochures.
And the Keswick Green / White roof combo is unbeatable.
