Please see attached photos taken this morning just before work & between showers.
A few more mods I have carried out:-
All additional accessories are controlled from relays & switches mounted on the front of the Ex-Box, power to these switches is through a 2 minute timer which allows starting without accessories on.
With this setup I leave the fridge switched on so it runs when the engine is running even around town & empty just to keep the unit ticking over.

Simpson Desert
Googs Track(2)
Hann Track(2)
Soon - Rudell River.

Mate, just in regards to your fridge, you may want to keep it full, or 3/4 full so it doesn't have to work so hard and put too much strain on your battery. I chuck in a pack of water bottles when I've unpacked all the food etc. (and of course, nothing makes city dwellers more annoyed than when you jump out at the lights on a hot day and grab a cold bottle to drink :-) ).Quote:

Chops - i'll try to equal your traffic trick. While patiently waiting in the queue to board the Spirit of Tasmania you jump out of the truck, grab a bottle of wine from the fridge and pour you and the wife a tipple. A look of jealously and admiration befalls the onlookers.

That is an awesome photo, MLD. Land Rover certainly could have used that in one of the sales brochures.
