The Defender is a rare 110 3 door Panel Wagon to ute conversion with Maxi Drive portal Axles which give a instant 5" extra diff clearance. The axles are laminated and braced for extra strength.

The gear box is a Auto conversion to a 4HP22 with 4HP24 Internals. It has a LT230 Transfer Case with 49% reduction gears for low range.

It rolls on 17" Bead Locked Walker Evans on 37" BFG KM2. Koni Raid shocks and Range Rover springs

The Engine is HS 2.8 International with a variable Vein Turbo.

A second radiator is mounted in the back to keep the engine cool.

The whole truck is engineered and road legal in Australia

This was up for sale a few years ago and it carried a hefty premium! something in the $40k's if I remember correctly. Imagine driving that in the bush - every thing would be a toddle and you'd be constantly waiting for your mates :)

Yes - imagine that's how it would go. Wonder what it's like on the road to where you plan to rock hop.

Stefan has become a 4WD maniac. I remember when he first started and we were going up a trail up near Dingo Flats (up Barrington Tops way) and he was a bit concerned that we were on the verge of tipping over backwards - now he's out every weekend and doing stuff I'd cringe at - mind you I can't afford the repair bills :(

haha yea. Ppl ask me what I've done with it, I say, well.... I've changed everything BUT the springs, doors and drum brakes (although they are now the 11x3inch units) pretty much everything else is modified or changed out to something else.

I was surprised it took the rear view wiht the spring hanger hanging out for someone to pick it, haha, thought someone would spot it from the front. :)

Hi.
They are from the seller JAxx tracks (I think) from EBay.au
JTX he also goes by.
Great bright white low beam, white halo, and flash amber with the indicators.
One is slightly faulty so I'm waiting for a replacement to be sent.
Recommended if they honor the replacement, and only $400 au.

So I sold the old silver 03 model 110.
But I missed the smile it brought me,
so I bought a 90 from Canberra and brought it to Sydney.....
Now my smile is even bigger.
