Great fun. I did something similar with four eleven year old lads onboard. A lot of we're gunna die was heard but they loved it.

That colour is almost identical to the one used by the Department of Supply in the 1950s and 60s for 'C' plate SWB Landrovers supplied to organisations such as the Bureau of Mineral Resources and Department of Civil Aviation. I drove a number of them in 1959-60 - they were in the process of changing from Rescue Orange to this lighter colour, possibly to be a bit cooler in the sun.
A real 'Retro" look, made the government vehicles easy to spot. The colour was actually selected for maximum visibility.

It sure is bright. Is it a metallic paint?
Colour is called golden yellow not sure if it metallic, think it was given to the td5 Extreme versions only. Never lost it in a car park thats for sure. :D
