Yeah everyone went well, didn't do anything too crazy, had another couple of guys with a Disco 300tdi and shorty GQ Patrol. Everyone always gives me stick for getting a Defender but it hasn't broken down and caused as many problems as other peoples cars have. Though it is a little uncomfortable compared to most others.
Had to build a ramp out of rocks to get onto the stump, just wanted to check the articulation with my current suspension.

GMeddy, for rough eras of those Landies:
1st 1972-84
2nd 84-86
3rd and 4th 58-71
If the 2nd one still has its motor it'd be worth something to someone
thought i might thow mine into the mix as well.
only has the towing kit, the side steps, which i think are great!, and i opted for the soft LR ''A'' bar, as i coudn't decide what bar to put on the front, will take a look at the new ARB bullbar and see what it looks like in the flesh before i decide, still have to put on the spotties and fit CB.
Here are some of mine.. We call him Maximus Primus Max for short (my 8 yr old son named him) but it suits him I think..
