All ready for a trip down the CSR next week, a short run from Perth to 100kms north of Newman yesterday, 1300kms in 14 hours...
Tangus, is that the lighthouse up north of Hat head?
Didge, that is on lighthouse beach just south of seal rocks.

thanks Tangus, I was thinking of another spot that looked similar - looks like soft sand!!
Yeah Didge it was incredibly soft, to make it worse I had just pulled my mates cruiser out and was in the middle of showing how "I didn't need to let my tyres down because my Landy didn't weight 3+ tonnes" :/

Made it up Cradle Mountain way today in search of the "thunder snow" that was forecast, didn't find any thunder but a nice covering of snow!!

Pretty much all of this fell while we were there in maybe half an hour, shows just how quick it can move in! Caught a lot of small car drivers out, there was a generous convoy of 4wds helping out but unfortunately I didn't have my tow strap onboard silly me😔
