glad to see the tdi is still good off road with them on,, Im not too worried about on road.. I dont think any of us buy a defender for its onroad prowess.

Hello Scott,

I have a TD5 00 Defender and still have the 35" MTR's off my Nissan which i plan to fit to my TD5.
from your photos that is what i am looking to see when i finish, What did you have to do to ensure they fitted with out problems.

My County had reset orignal springs (about 3") and some slight guard shaving, not a huge amount but enough to make sure it all clear. Even fully pushed up into the guards the tyres never hit. I think next time I would go 4" only because i accasionally would touch the body on rocks, but they were bloody big rocks!:D with the 3" lift the car still seemed balance and stable both on and off the road, would definatley go after market srpings next time though
