I'm stunned! - I put mine on my brother's weigh bridge in Vic at Christmas - with all our gear in it bar the 2nd spare, hand winch and 22kg tent, it weighed in at 2460kg (and that included the Christmas cheer in the Engel). What do you guys pack? Or is that goin' to show me up? :pQuote:

thats the stuff that never ever comes out unless I despretly need the room or to fold out all the space inside. but as a rule of thumb if alex's child seat is in that stuffs in.
Ontop of that I normally carry 2 jerries (1 water 1 fuel) my kelly kettle equivelant, a gas cooker and 4 gas cans for it, a jaffle iron, second chair, tarp, chain dogs, second shovel, pillow, more cloths, my light repairs tool box, a semi decent 12v aircompressor on a tank, inverters, basical electrical repair kit, spare parts kit, compressed air utility kit, rattle gun, die grinder, air ratchet.
some of that stuff gets removed on a regular basis for washing, or to free up space so connie can buy stuff.
If I think Im going out somewhere I will also add in any or all of the following depending on where Im going, what Im doing and who I might have in support or who I will be supporting
Tirfor, laptop with rave, maps, parts catalog, and some tab data stuff I can never remember correctly, more chain, extentions for the tirfor, ground anchor kit. more axes, chainsaws, medium level repair gear
oh and I keep the fuel tank past 1/2 full.

Just FYI
Mine is 2290kg, including
- ARB bullbar
- side steps
- full tank of fuel
- tirfor hand wich
- and other stuff like 2 batteries, air tank and compressor, shackles, std h-lift, shovel, 5L of coolant, 6L of oil, set of spanners, etc.
Rear about 30kg more than front, so the weight distribution is nearly ideal.
Mine comes in at 2220kg with ARB bar, winch, towbar, load barrier and assorted crap.
GVM is 3050kg unless it has rear helper springs then it can be either 3400kg or 3600kg (according to my manual)

I wouldnt mind betting we're in for a few different answers.
Geez, I thought my 110 V8 County was 1900 kg kerb weight - nothing like yiour 2.7 tonnes, blknight.
I looked it up when North Sydney Council proposed charging higher parking permit fees for 4WD over 2 tonnes. The County scraped it (which would have annoyed Scruby).
Unless I'm 4WDing, my P38A is pretty much empty. Snatch strap, tow rope, a few basic tools, Rovacom, BurnBrite fluoro light, torch, 1 litre oil, 1 litre auto trans fluid, 6 tie down straps, fuses, spare globes, reg and green signalling flags, red/green/white light signalling torch, fluoro orange wet weather gear, warm jacket - NRMA card.
Oh, and tea making facilities - gas burner, teapot, tea, and a cup.
