    I find it strange that they have actually left the safety guard on the vehicle(is the rear one still there?), all the additional lighting has been removed and the train horn, (thats a bummer, though it most likely still has the tank and compressor to go with it) you can't see it hanging so I assume all the other highrail equipment has been removed and chucked on another vehicle (most likely a new Hilux) The hydraulics on the back and front (if they are still there) could potentially make the vehicle fairly unstopable off road, imagine being bogged, press a button and two extra sets of axles drop down and you self recover to the amazement of all around you. Potentially this would make this vehicle is a part time 8x8.

    Now who says it's silly looking and unpractical?
