mine weighs 2.7T as a daily driver.......would hate think what it weighs when fully loaded![]()
Cool $2600, i can think of cheaper ways to have the rear crossmember crack...............
Alot of weight on one small pressed steel rear crossmember...
Funny the single wheel ones that have no re-enforcing "Kaymar" ......
Crack the cross member.... so 2 times the weight....
They don't buy them to use them so they won't crack. The man buys the POS and the wife drives it to drop the kids at school. Some mucho thing I don't get. Pat
Whats wrong with having one on the bonnet and one on the back door its a hell of alot cheaper option..
$2600 for a twin wheel carrier dosent sound too bad tho when ya look at the $3k+ tag for twin carriers for toyo and datto ....
Only that from the TD5 that wasn't an option.
I used to carry the extra spare on the roof rack, and inside the back. I built my own dual carrier on the back and have never looked back. Also saved myself some panel damage when the wheel prevented the car from rolling back into a bank going up some rediculously steep (impossible) climb. Thank the LR gods for winches and dual wheel carriers!!
