That would probably keep the light fingered gentry out without the goat, but I have an idea they are illegal for use as car protection.

Or you could borrow my mother in law.
Well, trip to town went OK, more comfortable than expected, owing to the overcast. 2a is running well, thanks partly to getting the ignition timing and spark plug gap right a couple of weeks ago. Cruises comfortably at 100kph, albeit a bit noisy, mainly tyres, wind and transfer case (and overdrive when used), plus assorted rattles. But compared to the County, the ride is rough with no load.
Waved to a late model Defender towing a trailer at the corner of Brisbane St and Newell Hwy as I was leaving Dubbo - anyone from here?

Glad you got a break in the weather. Just did the hospital run into Canberra in the Japero (No aircon) Pregnant wife enjoyed it not.
I still have a few rellies in Dubbo. Thet say there is a crime and bad behaviour problem associated with certain groups of residents in public housing. An elderly rellie there was in and out of hospital over a long period and during one of the prolonged stays her house was totally stripped of all possessions of any worth including the wood stove.
Getting back on topic, I am now rather disillusioned about Land Vehicle Spares. I ordered the parts from them on Tuesday, but with them not having arrived in today's mail, I rang to find out why.
They were only sent on Thursday, two days after the order. Sent by express post, which should be here by Monday, as it would probably have with ordinary post.
Not very happy.
Also not happy about the fact that I have found I have to remove my water tank to do the job - which means emptying it and removing the floor to get to the connections, and not helped by the fact that my next door neighbour has his cattle in one of the paddocks I drive through, well fed on lush green grass.
