Why can't all cars be that simple to change a fan belt!!!

That was easy....but, I have the wrong air con belt. The belt I have is to too short...there was no way I was going to force it onto the compressor pulley. It seems about an inch too short. I will have to take it back to the supplier

Here is pic showing the condition of the old belt.

    Cheers

When I bought my 300 Tdi Disco, it had too short a belt, too.

    Andrew,
that seems to be a somewhat modded 300tdi front cover.
Is the 130 running thermo fans?

In regards to the A/C belt (not in your picture) two different length belts depending on which compressor is installed

yep, it's got thermos. I am not fussed on the way they are mounted and am thinking of going back to the stock set up.
