    Try pricing from the USA??????????
    Thats not right...
We send quite a bit of stuff out internationally, including to Australia, via Sea freight.

How many people are looking for an X-Eng brake? If you want I can have a word with Simon and see what I can do for you from this side of the water.

Please see what you can do?

Perhaps price for one, five, ten or more etc then we can work out the freight details and put it up as a purchase from here.

If not I may contact rrturboD who lives down the road from Mr Rudd

    Regards,

    Peter,
Ok I'll have a word. Can I assume they should all be freighted to Townsville for you to distribute from there?

It may take me a few days but let me know on above...

I suggest that the cheapest port city in Australia is where the freight should be sent. I don't think I am going out on a limb to say that aulro would have members in all our port cities that handle freight. Distribution from there on would be for the aulroians.

If it come to Melb I'll put my hand up to distrubute from there.

I have 2 of the X-Eng disc brakes.

I believe it is safe to say there is no other mechanical caliper that compares to what Simon uses. That is why I wouldn't settle for any other.

The brake discs are simple laser cut plate that could easily be made locally in whatever numbers required. I could provide all necessary details, or file for profile cutter for the disc.

Kits without the disc would save a good amount of weight and reduce the package size, and should reduce shipping cost.

And I did talk to Simon about this prospect but wasn't forth coming as it is omethng he is planning on doing in the future...So I'm guessing he wont be up for it.

I'm pleased if this goes ahead BUT can I just say I DID TRY TO GET THIS DONE...but we kept having things thrown in the way certain people wouldn't buy if it was over a price, which it was with freight. That is fair enough but that kept dropping numbers below the bulk discount price hence why we kept trying to get quotes form different freight companies and trying to think of ways also to get it in without import tax to keep cost down...we just didn't seem to be able to work it.

If you do work it we would be in for a unit providing they are a good price like what I was going ot be getting them for originally.

Ok guys Ive spoken to Simon. I can get them from Simon easily (albeit with only small disc) and using my existing courier network I can get them sent over to you without any problems.

    Costs as per below:
    1 x X-Eng Hand Brake = £187.81 (0% Discount)
    5-6 x X-Eng Hand Brake = £178.87 each (5% Discount)
    10-12 x X-Eng Hand Brake = £173.90 each (8% Discount)

    Delivery:
Delivery from Simon to me (UK - UK) = £12.30 per 1 to 3 units (i.e 1 or 3 units cost me £12.30. 4-6 units therefore would cost me £24.60 etc.

Delivery from me to Townsville (I had to give the courier broker something known)
    1 x Unit Delivery = £75.00
    5 x Units Delivery = £272
    10 x X-Eng Hand Brake = £548

Costs on top of above would be a 4% Int'l VISA sur-charge on the invoice total to cover our costs at this end.

I am quite happy to receive individual orders from you guys and ship out as one delivery... The only potential problem with that is if one person drops out and makes everyone miss the price break. I dont mind not making any money on this for the betterment of fellow AULROvians (as per costs above - you guys helped me out last year etc), but I cant loose money!!

    Based on above, any takers?
