    many thanks.

Thank you all very much for the positive feedback.

I am very happy (so is my back pocket!) that I do not need to change the General Grabbers.
I will be on the phone tomorrow to find a spare one for the big trip as this is a requirement of the tag along group.

    Cheers.

Heh Alex, What dates are you going and what's the group your going with?? So far we have a group of 7 LR dates 27/6-25-7. Captain Rightfoot and 4 other vehicles are heading up around the same time and so Noz. So you'll be in good company, if your not locked into your tag along group have a look at our Itinerary. It would be good to have another Puma on ours

As for the tyres GG's are great and they will do fine, I think I had to replace one a few years ago because of a side stake and was shocked at the price but it was still cheeper than buying a full set! I Run Mickey Thompson MTR's on mine.

    Cheers,

    Thanks John,
Unfortunately we are locked into a tag-along tour, it is our first time and is fully catered. We had already booked before I bought my Puma. We are keen to join a social 4wd club as we do love to get out and go camping. A Land Rover owners club would be ideal. We will look into this after we come back...

We are leaving from Emerald on the 19th of July so we may well cross paths.
It is a pity we had committed as it would have been great to get away with other Pumas... Perhaps next time ot on another treck.... We have the Kimberlies and the dessert crossing in our sights now that we have a real 4WD...

Cheers and good luck on your trip.
    Alex.

I'll have a dig through my tyre stock, I might just have one left.
