I don't actually have the original connecting pieces. The previous owner used some modified tent poles. It would be easy to make some out of some round tube and just flatten the ends.
As far as I can see, there would be 4 pieces and they bolt through holes in the hoops, pictured below. I would think they would all be the same length.

Land rover Au can get the hoops ex u.k. for $750 two week turn about.
the plastic hood is $1,500 ex u.k. two week turn about

I have my defender 130 booked into a metal fab place this week.

will be made a little differently to the original one but I think it will be better suited to my needs and be a bit stronger.

will cost a fraction for genuine LR ones too

I have just bought a canvas hood from UK - about $550 delivered to front door.
Funnily enough, due to some odd circumstances, I will end up with two brand new hoods - dont quite know what I'll do with the spare one.

Hi there...First post on this forum so think I must be doing something wrong but here goes..

Just bought a 2002 130 and have one frame right behind the window. Any ideas where I can buy them or get them made?

I saw a number of UK suppliers for canvases but have no idea about the frame. Any help would be great.

Welcome to the forum.

It might be worth posting a wanted to buy add here on the forum before going down the fabrication route. It would be a lot less hassle if you can get an original frame.
