The sickest That's the idea. but I also still plan on using the TC as it definitly has its time and place to use it, but this way I have the best of both worlds

    Neat installation!
No, standard axles still. We'll see how they go? Pete's survived for ages and it wasn't till he put his Kreepys on till he busted one. So I should be right till I transfer the 37's from the Hummer.........

You may well be ok John, I would do exactly that and see how they go. As you said until this week I have only ever broken one long rear axle on 33's and then broke the same one again on the new 35's last weekend. I ran the 35 extremes on a few trips and didnt break anything with them. My lockers have been in for about 90k km aswell so have had pelnty of oppourtunity to break things!

The problem is that if you upgrade the front with larger CV's you will lose the ABS/TC as I dont think that there are upgraded CV's available with the exciter ring on....although I am not totally sure about that. The rears arent an issue as I think the ring bolts into the hub - You are more likely to need to do the rears than the fronts at least to start with.

The point that was made about steering is valid to an extent, but I have lost count of how many times I have used full lock, front locker and revs and got away with it!

The good thing about having TC and lockers is that you can have the back locked up, and the front open and still steer, yet let the TC look after the traction on the front axle. Only in dire conditions would you need to lock the front.

We are alway's using the front locker without any steering issue's, as long as your not doing any hard cornering at speed, most the time your going slow with lockers anyway

And once again my member continues to shrink to microscopic proportions in the presence of so many overwhelming vehicle accessories.
