			86 County Indicator wiring

Have bought some OE indicator assemblies to replace non genuine replacements on the rear .

Inside is a copper tab ( earth?) over one of the 3 screw holes.

Does this make the black wire redundant or should it be connected also.

Also , the wiring in rear RHS quarter panel is grubby , muddy , oily

Best to clean with WD 40 or some thing else?

 Pete

Not sure about the copper tab but I would hook the earth up anyhow. Dusty dirty wiring is the norn in this area, just give them a bit of a clean and spray with WD40 or lanolin. Will last another 20 years......Brian
