Depending on the quality of the alloy used in the rim you may be able to get it repaired.
I drove straight over the top of a traffic island in the commodore I used top have and had similar rim damage. It was straightened and repaired for around $100.

Tombie got any more details on those Staun rims ? How much are they ? Where from etc ?
Is a 16x8 too large to fit a 235/85 to ?
I wouldnt be buying the sunnies if your logic is that they will survive what you just put you landy allies through.
wolf rims, perentie rims, kabota tractor steer rims and landrover split rims definately. they'll take the pounding and normally be bodgable enough to hold the bead (even if you have to run a tube)
I'm aware of several people who have had allys repaired and theres now several specialist businesses that do this as their bread and butter. I've also seen repaired allys let go.
My Stand point on repairing of allys is this.
Providing the main bead shoulder is not damaged and the center line of the rim is still true then repairs to the bead seating face and shoulder are acceptable. Cosmetic repair of minor scratchings and divots by spray depositing is also acceptable.

but yours may touch on the radius arms at full lock and at full flex.
285s on a 0 offset may also slightly touch the upper rear spring seats if you get alot of flex... 0 is illegal so you may as well go all out and go for the -25s :)
My main logic here is that sunnies or similar are about 4 Million bucks cheaper than new LR alloys. I do understand that no rim is unbreakable, I just cant justify replacing them with more expensive rims for if I bust another steel one, Ill only be up for about $50-100...Quote:
