Thread: Puma starting problem

Hi to all. My 2008 defender 130 some times refuses to start. The starting motor turns once then stops. I removed the key fob and the same thing happens indicating an engine immobilisation problem. Pressing the lock then unlock on the fob once or twice then allows the motor to start. The fault is intermittent but becoming more frequent. Battery in fob seems OK.
Does anyone know of the cause or remedy? Cheers.

it's quite a common fault,your dealer should have a factory update.
