I don't own a Puma but feel the need to get involved anyway
2013, 110, 30,000km Turbo hose (different to recall), gearbox seal, rear door lock, 2 x door arms, leaking front windscreen from delivery (repaired, still leaks). Nothing too outrageous, but low km's.

Oh, almost forgot, thanks for reminding Pete, I'm on my 3rd Turbo hose.
2014 model 110, delivered in April 2014.
36,027 km - to date, not a single mechanical issue.
My rear wiper stopped working recently, and I've just had to replace the left headlight globe and right parker light globe, but that's it.
Cheers,
76,000 ks on my 2009 110 2.4.
Rear door warped (fitted wheel carrier)
Alarm kept tooting (switch under bonnet replaced)
Fuel filter failed because the previous owner hadn't had it replaced.
Currently has a squeaky pulley and a noisy EGR for the next service.
Very happy with it.

i think frogs 90 is at 190 km now lol
Hello everyone,
I had a 2007 130 2.4 Puma dual cab that i bought with 75000 km on the clock and only sold it a month or maybe two ago with 180000 on it.
I blew a fuel pump because of bad fuel at 120000 and that is all the trouble i had with the vehicle apart from the headlight switch failing twice.
The bad fuel brought everything on the project to a halt from 30 odd utilities to dozens of items of earth-moving equipment and the camp generators, so I can't really call that an engine problem or a fault with the engine, but that is what i listed- 50000 km with engine work required.
I don't know if it gave any trouble earlier than 75000 km as it didn't appear in any documentation or notation in the log books.
All the common rail engines of every make and model did their pumps from the gunk collected after the fuel filters and the old mechanical engines required a new filter or two to be rattling happily away once more with the bad fuel episode.
I do know that when it passed 160000 km it seemed to get a new lease of life and went like a scalded cat. It also showed reliability well beyond any competitors when we were working it for about 5 months in remote Arnhem Land where dodgy fuel required a weekly change of the filter. Apart from the fuel filters and a blown air conditioning hose, it was nice to remark what it was like to have a reliable vehicle out in the boondocks as Jap after Jap fell to bits around it with a lot of them requiring a tow or tilt to Darwin. Oh what a feeling.....
I was very happy with nearly all aspects of it for the three years I had it and was pretty upset about having to sell it.
Hector has been with us since 2012. Low kilometers 30,000 because we have been overseas a lot, but the Land Rover works hard in the Top End outback. No problems at all until about a month ago when a hose rubbed through under revs heading the Stuart highway. Not turbo hose, but coolant hose -draining our radiator. Replaced hose, all good and well
I'm in the 25-50K km range with engine repairs but it is only the turbo hoses.
Cheers,
Danial.
Our 2010 Puma has done a faultless 139.000kms to date. I made my own stainless turbo hoses / lines with silicone ends when I first bought and re-built the vehicle as I could see the originals were a piece of junk.
I did have 1 problem last year with a blown door lock fuse (located under the drivers seat - quickly sorted)
