I have been told before that I am wrong(not by you)but shouldn`t the winch be powered off the starting(cranking)battery?, if so then the smaller battery should be ok for the fridge:)

My Suzuki has the winch connected to the second battery, tho it uses a plain HD solenoid to connect the batteries when the motor is running. It was also easier to connect straight to the second battery in this case. If I was using a VSR, I would have probably connected the winch to the main crank battery.
