Well done mate
Well a few weeks back when Loanrangie posted this in marketplace alerts...
Flexible solar panels
.. I impulse bought one Thanks Nick
Anyway.. since then been messing around with setting something up to throw in the car for helping keep the D4 batteries happy when camped for extended periods.
The bigger panel size is not ideal unless I am taking the camper trailer- which I rarely do now days.. but it's thin and flexible.
Got it running today and quite happy - depending how it goes I may end up adding another panel - but at 100W I should be OK and the Regulator I bought is still happy if I put 2 of these panels on it anyway...
Plugs straight into the Anderson plug at the back of my Traxide install.
Before anyone says anything.. I have taken that positive cable out to insulate it better after todays quick test
Handy being able to see whats going on on my phone too..

Well done mate
Ive got a similar setup I made for my D2.
Gave 2 of the panels away as they were old and bulky.I do have 2 new big panels that I bought for the camper trailer,if I don't complete the camper trailer I may fit one of the panels to the roofrack on the D4.
Going camping for 10 days at Xmas,Im going to find some love for the trailer and finish it
I HOPE.
