At least with a 6x6, there'll be plenty of room for batteries!

Batteries are coming down in price fast. My LiFePo4 cost Au$222 each (plus delivery) for 200Ah cells , Can now get 265Ah for $180 each (plus delivery), . That makes a huge difference & makes a conversion really affordable.

Do we know any details of the conversion at all? Motor size, anticipated battery size, etc?

If someone if following him on Facebook, ask them if they can start a thread here.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

They are not 12V, LiFePo4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) cells are 3.2Volts each.

You can however Buy 12V Lithium batteries but its not an economical way of buying a battery as they have 4 x 3.2V cells inside another case ,( Or a combination of banks of Smaller parallel cells in series. )

    This is a single 3.2V LiFePo4 'prismatic' cell 200Ah x3C = 600 Amp discharge , $222 each , 12 months ago x 46 plus delivery set me back AU $10,500 .

This price list as about 2 months old

Best value is to buy direct from China,

    eg

3.2v prismatic LiFePO4 lithium ion iron phosphate solar battery cells manufacturer
