    Yes Arthur,

The motor goes into low level regen when you back off the throttle, its about the same as engine braking.

But further there is a 5K pot supposed to be hooked to the brake pedal to increase regen as you push the pedal down but I thought it would be more useful for me to mount the pot on the dash and vary the braking by hand to use as a "Hill Descent" control .

I have a switch on the pedal & I just set the regen pot on max for normal driving, in the wet I back it off so as to avoid a rear lockup.

So instead of using the brake pedal on long descents or Low Range hills I just pull the red knob , and vary the level according to the speed I want to maintain.

Yet to test it on proper hills as its rather flat around here but I'll trailer it to Mt Buffalo one of these days.

The orange thing is the camera I used to capture the display data.

Heres a dashcam clip of running along a road at 65kmh and pulling the red knob, regen set about 50% .
On the slight decline on the dirt bit the "descent control" was on max then i decreased regen level with dash potentiometer & then max again. Foot brakes not touched at all . Learning as I go here.

All the power levels , throttle map and regen braking etc. are programmable to suit vehicle use & driving style.
The CAN data bus connects in behind one of the gauges so I have to get in there for programming.

The Current limits menu is where the braking levels are. the list below is a saved file of factory settings , Ive dropped the RPM back to 5000.
