    Woot! more mining.

    It’s such a relief to know that “the metal would be critical to future improvements in the growth industries”.

    I guess if it leads to building the electric Hover Rover it’s a good thing.

    No doubt the government in power will find a way to sell the reserve off to the Chinese, so that they control 99.99% of world reserves!

    Rare earth minerals are not particularly rare - there is a mine near here that has been trying to get off the ground for about ten years. The major issue is processing - which is complex, capital intensive, and expensive. Test consignments from this mine have had to be sent to China for processing.
