This is also sounding promising for battery development.

    Another one that is either:

    Coal processed
    Acid leeched alongside uranium
    Oxidised

None of which are particularly green Vanadium for grid and lithium batteries

    Japan is now restarting

Not at all surprised to see Japan is now restarting and likely to add to its nuclear power. Fukasima was terrible by design! It was a disaster yet only a person died while 1000+++ died from air pollution from cars, gas ad coal emissions in Japan.

It is only a matter of time before common sense add to this clear trend. I am not anti solar, hydro, wind, hydrogen. The benefit of nuclear is a little like vaccines. Hundreds of times today I listen to my nurse warn of a very rare but just remotely possible temporary and treatable heat issue which might impact on boys more than girls. There is a risk walking across the street. Measured risk is a requirement of living.

I’m guessing because it’s the only real way forward at the moment.

Current renewables cannot provide for the worlds power needs.
