Hey all, so I've been working on my rangie today and I've noticed I don't have a clamp for the auxillary battery! I had a look at where it was mounted, and there are factory holes for a battery hold down clamp. Was this clamp the same as the other side? Or will I have to source a factory secondary battery clamp?
Thanks!

Hi Felix,
You can buy clamps from any of the usual auto chainstores. Consists of a couple of threaded rods with a U at one end, couple of wingnuts and washers and a plastic bar that goes over the top of the battery.
You might have to drill a couple of holes for the rods. I have these on both my batteries. No probs, 74/81 RRC.
cheers, DL

We did the same. Got the generic type and drilled a couple of holes. No problems.:)

This seems to be a better option, drilling some holes and fitting an aftermarket one. I picked up a genuine one from a wrecker and it doesn't seem to hold the battery in very well... Thanks for the input :)
