Fairly common I'm afraid. Have seen photos of much larger ones.
You'd want to watch out if you were going to bend down peck nana on the cheek. Could take an eye out with that thing. [tonguewink]

I suppose whilst grandma is sitting still on the chair you could use the horn to hang your coat on...

I was asked to judge(standing in for Stuart Hall again)an apple carving competition at New Mills primary school(using Miss Podmores classroom 1b) for BBC Look NorthWest last March the winner Dr Alec Rombolt(97)a retired bat's wing repairer from Disley carved a horse out of a 'Coxs Pippin' using two of the pips for it's eyes,see column 5 page 3 in the Manchester Evening News 7/3/09 late edition for the article or BBC Manchester's archive list(put in apple,horse,Grockle,New Mills and pip)
