hi all, turned on the air conditioner air fan not working last night with or without a/c. haven't had a chance to check the fuses but what should i be looking out for. would like to pull the entire fan out i believe its on the passenger side. is it hard to remove or easy. would like to give it a general clean out as the fan was making noises on high which sounded like it was dirty. not convinced that the air blowing on full was the maximum it can output either. could be a leak somewhere so the full air was not coming out the vents. are these cheap to replace. thanks in advance. ;)

hi all, turned on the air conditioner last night and the fan was not working with or without the air cond. haven't had the chance to check the fuses or anything so looking for suggestions. I believe the fan unit is under the dash on passenger side. how easy or difficult is it to remove or replace. any idea of cost for these. when i was using the max fan output it sounded funny like it was dirty so need to remove for a clean up. or it had a leak somewhere as the max output of air was not sufficient. any advice appreciated. cheers :D

Check Rave to see if there is an inline fuse.
Don't now how they resist power for lower speeds either;)
Yes, the fan is under the dash on the left side.
Drop the cover trim and then only 3 screws and the electical plug, slight twist as it drops out.Easy DIY.
Tried to clean mine with no success:(
Second hand one was $220.00 , had to adapt the wiring though.

well could not locate a fuse for the fan assembly looked in the engine bay fuse box as well as the driver side under panel fuse box. the fan worked again once more before it died on me. so removed the glove box as per rave and then undid the 2 lower bolts for the fan assembly plus the top three so is now loose but cannot remove it from the compartment. anyone had success removing the fan assembly. bolts are all undone but seems to large to remove in the hole available for removal. help please.
