02 X-tremes all reg as 9 seat?

Can it be taken for granted that all X-Tremes can re reg as a 9 seat vehicle using ADR approved seats and mounts without an Engineers certificate?

No.. Xtremes are only complianced as 5 seats

You need seats fitted by an approved installer and the vehicle needs to be changed on its compliance to reflect the new seating capacity.

1 way or another, some red tape will need to be used.

If the seats are just for little kids - then I think all you need to do is fit some seats and belts from a county and place a sticker stating they are for kids only up to a certain weight. Not sure if midgets are allowed to use them though.
