in a post yesterday I mentioned that my brother in-law is selling his D3.

http://www.aulro.com/afvb/marketplace-alerts/100781-anyone-melbourne-market-d3v6.html

looking at the ad, and his asking price, it seems a bit on the low side.

those of you who are out there in the market at the moment, either buying or selling, what is your feeling with respect to asking price for an 05 V6 D3 with 113k on the clock?

He has to firstly beat dealer prices because he will not have a warranty and there is one in nsw with similiar km's bull bar & snokel for 40K in a yard.

There is a blue tdv6 with 100,000 km priced at 44K in canberra that has sat there for a looooooong time. 44K is obviously too much for any se with those km's.

Based on car sales I would say 38K is the right selling price if he is prepared to wait. But then I just bought my hse tdv6 for not much more.

He says it is priced to sell quick and of course price depends on his urgency to turn it over. If he does need / want to be rid of it quickly then 36 is probably the right selling price, but he hasn't left any negotiation room for himself. I would probably advertise at 37K

As it has the V6 Ford Exploder engine rather than the TDV6 I would have thought 36K is nothing special. I have seen petrols down to $30K with a few more Kms on them.

Low 30's . 6 figure kms takes the shine off alot of vehicles.
Mate of mine in upmarket cars won't touch over 80000km vehicles.
The new price of this was how much ; 50 something without leather ?
