G'day all,
My recently purchased Landy came fitted with three aerials but no radio or stereo.
One aerial is easy, its a corner marker :D
One is a GME, mounted just forward of the firewall with a spring base. After the spring base it has a thick shaft for about a foot then a single spindly rod with a spiral somewhere near the middle. Overall height puts it slightly taller than the roof. This is mounted on the passenger side and in the first photo.
The third is from Mobile One Sydney, it looks to be shrink wrapped over a core with a wire spiralling up it, at first a coarse spiral then getting closer till there is no space between the turns.
It is on the drivers side in front of the firewall and a similar height to the other aerial, and is in the second photo below.
There is no handsfree mobile phone gear. There is a cable in the passenger footwell (theoretically) attached to one but not sure which.
I would like to know what these two aerials are for.
