well after a resent 4wd trip my shocks are rooted on the rear,, i have a very nice floaty bouncy ride:(:D,, and i stop at the lights like i have dumped bags in the rear with it bouncing for a good min:D

and with me been me i wanted shocks as cheap as possible, and yes i no we'd all love the 2300$ bilston's but im a apprentice that owns a landrover, so i need it on the cheap:p, so iv just ordered some sus stuff 2" extended shocks, they seem pretty reputable and well known and plus he has a good refund so if they dont work the way i want, and a 5yr warranty so that has to been good, i hope,

but i was very happy with the standard LR shocks, they lasted just over a 100k with the car been bort just for a 4wd tour car towing a 3T van, its been every were, cape, simpsion, plenty hway, just to name a few and all off them are very hard on suspension, lasted very well

theres now 8 4x4's kicking around amberly with suspension stuff gear on them.
I've had 2 complaints.
1. the wrong shockies were supplied. 2 numbers were transposed between what we wanted and what we got (fixed inside 48 hours which was still before the fitting date)
2. bought the gear, couldnt get it quickly fitted and had to sell it again to cover some expenses that came up between purchasing/delivery date and the predicted date of fitment. Not happy.

The yellow ones are valved for a firmer ride. I wanted silver all round but only had yellow in stock for the front.

The silver shocks come in "long travel" for the rear, as well as standard length, while the yellow shocks only come in standard length. You will find that most companies 2" lift shocks are actually the same length as standard (OME, TJM, EFS, etc, etc).

The "yellow" are also valved softer than the "silver".

There is probably a reason why the shocks are known as "Sus Stuff", people should do more research before outlaying money on gear that is not known well in the market place. A small company like that is not able to make their own shocks, so are obviously selling someone elses, and of course what they are selling is THE BEST, but is it... You sometimes get what you pay for.

Just for general information,

Any shock (damper) marked made in Australia are made by Monroe, it is the only manufacturer of shocks in Australia, whatever the name on the sticker says. The difference between them is that they are made to the specifications supplied by the the brand name end user.

the ones they first sent me were yellow,, and standed length,, rung em up and after a bit of argument they agreed to send me new set, all extended silver,
they are a fare bit longer then standed and still ride very well, the bump is a little firmer but feels very stable offroad and on the dirt,
now i need some dislocation cones:D:D
