Not sure what you have there bayrover looks home made to me.
Sign Writing was used on Annand and Thompson Vehicles starting Early 1949 ( That's as far back as we have proof )
Right upto Late Series 1 Possibly Early Series 2.
The first type of sign writing was hand done 1949 - Early 50 then the second type was stencil and spray. 1950 - onwards.
The writing was on the rear tailgate and Front Passenger side mudguard (Queensland did not require numbers plates on the front of the vehicle)
Examples below a 1953 80" with it on the rear tailgate and a 1955 107" with it on the front mudguard.

It is an Annand & Thompson replacement tailgate. A few have turned up. The original aluminium tailgates were so flimsy that timber repalcements were made for customers by A&T. In NSW we see well made steel tailgates and half and full 80" replacement doors (rather than bodged repairs which are common). Thriving cottage industry!
Good find!

I have a well made replacement Series 2/2a/3 tailgate. Made of 1/4" plate it is impractically heavy. It has no remaining paint, although I assume it originally had some. Came with some other of parts from a clearing sale.

I moved from a medium shed to a enormous shed and Murphy's law kicked in. I expanded to fit the available space and its now full of " Stuff ", cars, tractors, implements, trailers, concrete mixer, even things that I just might need one day in 50 yrs time......la la la :whistling:
