Hi I notice a oil leak under td5 engine and a close look and smell I think it could be a diesel leak.
Is there any history with td5 diesel leaks and where should I look? Thanks Griff

Fuel pressure regulator would be my bet.

Agreed with scouse..
have a look towards the rear of the engine under the inlet manifold... i'm sure it will look wet...
fairly cheap to get done... had the disco done at 145k k's but they go at any amount of k's ....
another item thats almost a service item...
apparently defenders are easier to get to... i havent looked at ours yet...the disco's looked a bugger to do so i let someone else do it :)

We had a maufacturing fault with our Puma, but it showed up a couple of weeks after purchase. We never found out exactly what it was, but there was enough diesel coming out of the top of the motor near the injectors to put it into limp-home mode, and cover the engin bay.

Parts took 2 weeks to arive from England...grrrr..
