Yes folks
be very carefull of your garden variety GPS units. Driving along and the one in the "Torqit" stopped working. Tried to turn it on but the buttons were not moving. Then noticed the screen was cracked:eek:.
Got home and pulled it apart and found the battery had shorted and tripled in size.
So all the guts were squashed which detonated the screen.
The battery was a lithium unit so keep an eye on your batteries from time to time.
