making a land rover dvd

after watching a english made dvd about land rovers and there history i thought that the examples and details could have been alot better so i thought if we got a few people on here and make a dvd with some good examples and instead of them always just sitting htere in a carpark actually have them driving and dare i say a bit of offroad driving.the one i watched goes for about 50 minutes ill get the name of it next week but i just thought i'd see if anyone was interested in making one:cool:

well i was sorta throwing an idea out there.we would need every model of land rover in as good as new condition and also a few with some good mods or even just some good work hacs.i have never done anything like this and it wont be the sorta thing i would try and sell at stores or anything just for those that want to order a copy.have you seen any of the kind of dvds im talking about,discovery channel have some similar ones aswell.

just another thought for special feaure we interview the person and their land rover/s for say 5-10 mins showing off their car as well as them tellin us about its history and what not

okay i have not stopped thinking about this so this is what i have been thinking about
1st it depends wether or not i get into uni teaching
but besides that i would like to get as many good examples as close to home but still want to travel to at least QLD to see a few good people and maybe to victoria but im not going to any other states
if you have a good original example of a model or a nice modified landy you want to show off leave me a message here
or if you are interested in helping maybe with equipment that would be great

We have a video camera you can use we have never used it so couldn't you how to use it , it has tapes. It was given to us off my sister & it does work & has all the stuff needed.
Not one of the newer ones but its not one of those huge things either..

All my other bits and pieces are the same as everybody elses. Having said that my seat covers are the Savile Row suit of seat covers, made by a mate in Mansfield who is a artist with canvas.

well i will be going up to Qld some people i need to visit so that means i will have a trip up and back so i will probably do a bit of a loop.i will be going through the week aswell so maybe even if it is just stopping in to say hi.i am thinking maybe 2 weeks going up and back being busy everyday if it takes a bit longer then so be it i will just be sleeping in the defender.and hopefully some other people might want to take a week or 2 off and come for a drive and help out

ok quick update at this stage i am moving over seas next yr for about 6 months probably leave in either december(end of) or january(end of) but i am booked up in november at this stage.so that doesnt leave me much time at all.so what i would like to do is have all the filming done before i go overseas then i can do all the editing then.really need some definate people to jump on board asap.if i get all the filming done before i go then i would probably plan on releasing it around the castle hill expo next year.if not then it will be some time in 2012 just so people know when this is all done i am handing over the rights of sale to aulro because this is a bit of a fundraiser aswell.just so peeople know i will be at castle hill expo this year if nothing major comes up and i am thinking about staying there saturday night.
